Romsey War Horse Memorial Model Unveiled

Campaigners for a permanent memorial to the thousands of horses shipped into battle during WWI have unveiled a bronze model of their statue. The stature is the work of Amy Goodman who is an Associate Member of the Society. The bronze maquette won the British Sporting Art Trust’s Prize for the best sculpture at the recent Horse in Art exhibition at the Mall Gallery, London.
