Biography

“I have always sketched mainly animals and sometimes people. Animals play a big part in my life I have ridden since I was a child and owned horses for over 40 years. I still keep a horse and work with him at classical dressage as well as hacking out to enjoying the beautiful Hampshire countryside where I live

“Working in pastels, acrylic inks and most other mediums I have been painting seriously for ten years. Apart from a BA (Hons) Education I have completed, with ‘Distinctions’, courses in Pet Portraiture and Portraiture. These courses have enabled me to receive commissions and gain experience from practice and production of work that meets my client’s needs

“To me art is lifelong learning and I attend many diverse courses each year to stimulate and advance my skills
