Janna Cossettini

The artist and sole hard-worker behind Deckled Edge Ltd is Janna Cossettini. Janna also juggles designing and running her biz alongside being a mother. She is an avid horse rider who loves to keep fit and healthy to balance the hours sitting sketching, and the evenings enjoying a glass of vino or two.

Deckled Edge specialises in Equestrian and Country Living art, always open to commission work!

A growing art brand with a natural approach, and aim of bringing joy through pigment/paper/pen.

Pigment: vibrant watercolours, pencils and colour use, creating all of my art by hand, resulting in designs with a unique warmth.
Paper: quality thick tactile boards, a love and respect derived from studying traditional printmaking techniques and frequent use of ‘deckled edge’ papers at Uni.
Pen: to write those lovely cards, joining the special connection engaged when simply writing to others by hand.

How I came to this point:
A collaboration of life’s experiences gained within the art and design field.
– Artist, I have a Fine Arts degree-BA.
– Career as Art Director for the Condé Nast Family of magazines, plus retail catalogues for M&S and John Lewis Home, spanning well over ten years.

My dream for Deckled Edge is to build a reputation worldwide with innovative and fresh stylish designs for the equine and country gifting market. All products are produced here in the UK.
