Biography
Jacquie Billington
I live in rural Somerset with my husband, three dogs, two goats, one cat and my beloved horses. I train my horses using The Academic Art of Riding by Bent Branderup and Positive Reinforcement and I coach students to learn these skills.
I have a BA Hons degree in Illustration and Graphic Design studying at Camberwell College of Arts in London and Bristol School of Art and Design but a chance meeting with the established Equestrian Sculptor, Annette Yarrow convinced me to change direction and move into sculpture.
I worked for Creations, Country Artists and Border Fine Arts, creating commercial sculptures in resin before moving into casting in bronze, using various foundries. I now take commissions and cast in bronze mostly.
