Emily Russell-Rhymes

Biography

Having grown up around horses, they have always been at the forefront of subject matter within my artwork. My degree in Equine Science and Thoroughbred Management gave me a scientific knowledge of anatomy and both static and dynamic conformation, whilst working within the racing industry for racehorse trainers gave me insight into characteristics and personality of racehorses.

I paint and draw in many mixed mediums, and never like to be tied to one style or method.

I currently work from my make-shift garage studio in Oxfordshire, cramming in as many ideas as I can in-between full time work within racing broadcasting and being a wife and Mum.
