Carolyn Hundslev
Biography
From the age of sixteen to twenty one I completed a Diploma in Art and Design course in London..
The following fifteen years were spent working for The National Magazine Company and The International Printing Company in London.
I also freelanced, producing illustrations for magazines and painting a successful range of greeting cards for Camden Graphics.
At the age of thirty five, I gave up my magazine work and freelanced from home in Winchester, Hampshire, working for Camden Graphics, The National Trust, Royal Worcester and Poole potteries.
However, within two years my life changed dramatically , I said goodbye to England and moved to Denmark to be with my second husband Aksel, a Danish journalist.
One magic day, not long after coming to Denmark some friends took me to a stallion presentation. It was followed by some dressage, finishing with a top dressage rider performing an almost faultless program to music. It was so beautiful, I found to my embarrassment, I was crying.
Of course, I’ve worked with horses ever since.
