Anthea Wood

Originally from Newmarket, Anthea is a second career painter and printmaker now living near the Scottish borders in Northumberland with her family and animals including a horse whom she first met on a trekking holiday in Portugal in 2003; twenty years on, horse and rider are still getting out and about together! Anthea has a lifetime love of horses and is drawn to painting them, although she also enjoys painting other animals and is particularly inspired by the beautiful northumbrian landscapes.
