AUGUST 3RD MONNINGTON COURT MORGANS. HEREFORD

Organiser: Jenny Bell FM

Tutor: Jenny Bell FM

Cost: £60

The British Morgan Horse Society Foundation Farm. Breeding quality Morgan horses for over 45 years.

The Morgan can trace its lineage to one legendary stallion ‘Figure’ owned by Justin Morgan in the USA, and is one of the most versatile of breeds, with beautiful conformation and expressive head…it’s sometimes referred to as the ‘Artist’s horse’.

The stud is run by John Bulmer and his wife Angela Conner, the internationally famous sculptor, and her work can be seen around the farm. She will be at the workshop, and will be fascinating to chat to about art.

The facilities are brilliant for a workshop, with an indoor school we can use if it’s wet, and we can use the farmhouse for downtime and refreshments – bring your own lunch, or we can discuss a local pub visit. Reasonably priced accommodation is available in Hereford, 20mins away.
