Tim Turton ASEA

Biography

Most paintings are for sale however I have included sold work for continuity. Please contact me for information, price or arrange to take a look around my studio in Cheltenham.

I predominately work in acrylic and love the versatility of this medium. I try to balance colour and form – contrasting line with brush work and flat areas of colour so that each work has a history of mark making.

I continuously draw, making sketches from life and from source references. I endeavour to create work that is a response to a place or a moment – partly from memory, partly from the sketches that I make on location and partly from source references. Combining these together for the finished composition.
