Biography

Sian Bowen

Sian Bowen was born in 1968 and grew up mostly in Cornwall where she has resided for the past thirty years.
She studied Fine Art at Cornwall College and went on to teach art at the college for six years.
Sian paints commissions of horses from local show ponies to well known race horses in Britain.
Her influence for her scenic equestrian pieces are from around the Cornish countryside and from her own horses situated on the family farm.
Sian likes to sketch from life and then go to her studio where she mainly renders her final pieces in oils.
