Biography

Chris Dennis is an Elected Member of the Hilliard Society and The Society of Limners and Miniaturists. He has exhibited in several London Galleries, including The Royal Miniature Society Westminster Gallery, the Mall Gallery, the Europa Gallery, the Chelsea Art Society, the Society of Equestrian Artists, the Connoisseur Gallery, ‘ A Million Brushstrokes’ Exhibition, and has exhibits at The Alexander Llewellyn Gallery. He has also exhibited at the Chichester Centre for Arts’ C21 Watercolour Exhibition. He was awarded the Blue Ribbon at The Society of Limner’s Winter Exhibition 1998, and received the Grumbacher Award at The Miniature Society of Washington DC 1999. He was a Featured Artist at Art Space 2000. He has also exhibited in Nagano (Japan), The Miniature Art Society of Florida, The Seventh International Art Show in North Carolina, with The Miniature Painters, Sculptors and Gravers Society of Washington DC, in Melbourne Australia, Canada, C&J Gallery Illinois, and the Societe des Artistes en Miniature et Arts Precieux de France. He is a Member of The Guild of Mastercraftsmen. Some of his paintings are in the possession of Her Majesty The Queen, as well as with a number of prominent racehorse owners and trainers
