Roy Miller has been a full member of S.E.A. and also the American Academy of Equine Art for many years and has won awards with both groups.
Roy was awarded the President’s Medal at the S.E.A.’s 2005 exhibition for the best body of work in the show and also won the public vote for the most popular painting. Roy won the award for the best racing picture in the 2006 exhibition. Roy has tutored a number of workshops for the S.E.A. members in England and Ireland.
Roy has had one-man exhibitions in London , USA , Canada , and Australia. He has undertaken commissions for leading figures and organisations in the racing world in Europe, USA , Canada , Japan, France , Hong Kong , Ireland , Australia & New Zealand.
The Queen has Roy ‘s painting of Her Majesty’s classic winning filly “Highclere” winner of the 1000 guineas at Newmarket. His work is on permanent display in a variety of prestigious venues including the Hong Kong Jockey Club and the Queens Stand at Epsom.
The Injured Jockeys Fund has used his paintings on several occasions for fund raising Christmas cards and calendars.
