Gillian Higgins of Horses Inside Out hosted an Anatomy for artists Masterclass for SEA Members at her Leicestershire base in August.
Artists enjoyed a fantastic day learning about equine anatomy to help inform the artistic eye, with the very patient assistance of equine models who had their insides painted on the outside.
It’s such an education to see how the structure of a horse moves within its frame and gain a deeper understanding of movement and life.
Once again the workshop was organised by Jennifer Bell SEA. The Society is grateful to both Jennifer and Gillian for making such events possible – it all goes towards our primary aim of “promoting excellence in equestrian art”.
