Amy Goodman

Amy Goodman SEA, twice a winner of the prestigious B.S.A.T Best Sculpture Award, is fast gaining a reputation as a highly accomplished equestrian sculptor, and her work is increasingly seen in the Public realm.

In July 2015, her emotive WW1 ‘Romsey War Horse & Trooper’ was unveiled by HRH Princess Anne in Romsey’s War Memorial Park. Other key works include the ‘Arborfield horses’; the WW1 Gurkha Memorial; a bust of the iconic Florence Nightingale; ‘Treo’ the brave sniffer dog; ‘Pegasus and Bellerophon’, the reinstated insignia of the Airborne Forces, for the 16 Air Assault Brigade’s HQ in Colchester; and the ‘Angel II’ for Winchester University’s magnificent new West Downs development.

Her studio is based at the inspirational ‘Project Workshops’ in Hampshire.  Whether shaping clay for bronze, or welding 3D ‘drawings’ in 10mm steel bar, her elegant figurative, equine and Animalia works capture life, energy and movement.
