We have something really very special lined up for the final SEA workshop of 2016 as we are very fortunate to have secured the services of the renowned Painter Martin Yeoman (see below). Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to study under Martin Yeoman in an historic location.<\/p>\n

About Martin Yeoman<\/strong><\/p>\n

Born in 1953 Martin trained from 1975-1979 at the Royal Academy Schools, London. Among his commissions to date are Her Majesty The Queen’s grandchildren, Sir Alan Hodgkin OM, Sir Brinsley Ford and the former Bishop of Birmingham Hugh Montefiori. Winner of the 2002 Ondaatje Portrait Prize, his work is both painterly and poetic. He is considered by many to be one of the finest draughtsmen working today and is sought after by artists and collectors alike.<\/p>\n

He has accompanied HRH The Prince of Wales on official overseas tours to India, Hong Kong and the Gulf States, and teaches at the Royal Drawing School.<\/p>\n

About Cools Farm<\/strong><\/p>\n

The farm is the home of Quentin Edwards, Lionel Edwards\u2019 grandson. During the weekend the workshop group will have an opportunity to see his collection of equestrian paintings and drawings and also discuss the work with Diane Roe, who is currently researching a book on Lionel Edwards.<\/p>\n
