He paints in oils and watercolours and prefers to work directly from nature where possible.<\/p>\n<p>He has exhibited at the &#8211;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Royal Academy<\/li>\n<li>Royal West of England Academy<\/li>\n<li>Pastel Society<\/li>\n<li>Royal Society of Marine Artists<\/li>\n<li>Royal Institute of Oil Painters<\/li>\n<li>Society of Equestrian Artists<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Barry is a member of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and a member of the Society of Equestrian Artists, he has won many prizes for his work.<\/p>\n<p>In 2014 Barry was elected to full membership of the Royal Society of Marine Artists.
