Jennifer has been ‘pony mad’ from the age of four in a non-horsy family, and was forced to turn to drawing in frustration at the lack of ponies.<\/p>\n
She gained a degree in Fine Art (sculpture) then bluffed her way into an advertising agency and retrained in graphics and design. She also finally learned to ride properly and qualified as an AI. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Freelance since 1986, she has combined writing\/illustrating books – mostly equestrian, which continues to be her passion, including 2 books on how to draw horses for J.A.Allen and one for the Pony Club (\u2026built on a foundation of painting horses from life and tutoring at live-horse workshops) with painting acclaimed trompe l\u2019oeil and murals in hotels, restaurants, churches and visitor centres, as well as some of the loveliest private houses in the country.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n She has won 2 major interior design competitions (both World of Interiors magazine) and been a finalist in another (House and Garden.)<\/p>\n But she\u2019s happy to be commissioned to paint most things, including portraits, and at any size\u2026 recently she has been painting and exhibiting large scale canvases as \u2018portable\u2019 murals.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Contact<\/b><\/p>\n Email <\/b>jbell@campionbell.com<\/b><\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n
