“I painted from an early age. mostly animals and landscapes but would have a go at most things<\/p>\n
“I have had a break from painting for 15 years before starting again in 2007, painting portraits firstly which was new for me. I have worked with horses all of my adult life, all types of equines. I live in Cumbria with my family, in and area of outstanding rural beauty<\/p>\n
“In equestrian art I am drawn to painting exercising horses the most, I find the depiction of movement while still preserving correct anatomy a great challenge<\/p>\n
