Winter Workshop – Preparing to Draw Horses from Life

On Sunday March 17th there is an opportunity to attend a special Winter Workshop at 

GREAT BRIDGEFORD VILLAGE HALL, Newport Road, Great Bridgeford, Stafford ST18 9PR

The theme for this indoor workshop : Preparing to Draw Horses From Life
Tutor: Alison Wilson SEA (author of ‘Drawing and Painting Horses’, Crowood Press)
A structured indoor workshop for artists, including beginners, who either are not accustomed to work from life, or who wish to
brush up on the skills involved. The workshop will begin with a basic introduction to measured drawing with specific reference to
working from horses, including proportion, foreshortening, and general advice about working from live horses.

The rest of the day will consist of specific directed practical work with individual support from the tutor. We will be using a life-size model of a horse.

Easels and drawing boards will be provided.
