MIDDLEHAM RESIDENTIAL WORKSHOP

We are delighted to announce that in September 2019 – ‪Monday 23rd to Friday 27th – the SEA will be holding a brand new ‘plein air’ RESIDENTIAL painting workshop in the North of the country at the prestigious Kingsley Park Racing Stables, Middleham, Yorkshire. Record breaking trainer Mark Johnston and his wife Deidre will host us at their excellent venue where we will paint Deidre’s hunters and show horses. Porlock is fully booked but if you are in the North of the country or just fancy a residential workshop in this stunning location look no further. We will be tutored by the outstanding painter Malcom Coward HSEA. Cost of the workshop is just £285 see details below.

Kingsley Park has its own extensive Gallops and is close to the Middleham High and Low Moor Training facilities. Middleham, famous for its 12th century castle which was home to Richard III, has a colourful history, a thriving horse-racing community (more than 15 training yards based in and around the village) all set amidst the breathtaking scenery of  Wensleydale.

Breakfasts, lunches** and tea, coffee etc are included. Special dietary needs can be catered for – gluten free, vegan, veg – nut allergy etc. The cost of this workshop is just £285

**Set menu lunches will be taken at the nearby Richard III pub (drinks are extra!)

Evening meals can be taken at one of the four excellent nearby pubs or you are welcome to use the house catering facilities.
