A Masterclass on the anatomy of horses with Gillian Higgins of Horses Inside Out at Wavendon Grange, Old Dalby, Leicestershire.

The SEA aims to promote the practice of equestrian painting and sculpture and the public appreciation of this art – workshops are led by Full Members and invited experts.

[ezcol_1half]This Masterclass will focus on the practical value of understanding the underlying structures of bone and muscle when painting or drawing horses from life, with useful tips and shortcuts to help you achieve a good and accurate result quickly.

Gillian is an equine anatomist, biomechanist, BHS Senior Coach, professional Sports and Remedial Therapist and author with a first class honours degree in Equine Science and Business Management. Gillian is passionate about horses and anatomy and sharing all she knows for the good of the horse. She specialises in assessing posture and movement, devising exercises for improving performance and educating horse owners. She is well known for her anatomical painting on live horses, which she uses for her teaching.
