Biography

I am Suesanne Hope, a realist artist based in Victoria, Australia, whose work celebrates the untamed beauty of horses, sweeping landscapes, and beloved pets. My deep connection with horses, which stretches back to my earliest memories, naturally flows into my artistic practice.

While I’ve long been drawn to creative expression, I recently discovered a passion for oil painting. This medium allows me to capture the subtle play of light on a horse’s coat, the gentle contours of the Australian landscape, and the soulful expressions of pets with rich, layered depth.

Each piece I create is influenced by my lifelong affinity for horses and my surroundings in Victoria. Through my artwork, I seek to share not just the physical beauty of these subjects, but also the emotional connection between humans and animals that has shaped my artistic journey.
