Leaving Art school with a degree in 3D design, Nikki was a Goldsmith before taking up full time painting in 1996. Specialising in large watercolours of animals, including horses

“I paint anything with with a skeleton that has a Myth, Legend or superstition attached to it; it may be an Owl, Tiger, Horse or Beetle, but although I admire their beauty, I’m really interested in the beliefs and attributes that humans have ascribed to them through the ages; a horse for independence and freedom of thought or perhaps a Tiger for its potent sensuality and insightfulness”

Nikki’s work is in many private collections in USA, France and Holland as well as the UK. She is also in the collection of Freshfields Bruckhaus Derringer, was shortlisted for Wildlife Artist of the Year Award 2011 and is represented by Cricket Fine Art, London
