Biography
Paul is self taught from an artistic and equine background. His paternal grandfather was an artist and maternal grandfather and family were trainers and jockeys in Lewes.
His early commissions and sales include ‘Brigadier Gerard’ for the Canadian Jockey Club and ‘Grundy’ for Mr P T Walwyn and Ascot Racecourse
In 2004 returned to painting after a career in Graphic Design, exhibiting with the Society of Equestrian Artists 2006
He says he paints the subjects he does because of an admiration and love for The Horse and a deep desire to capture a moment and record it for others to enjoy
