Biography
Colin spent the early part of his life as a posterwriter/signwriter/ illustrater, this use of the brush brought about his appreciation of the fine arts and his subsequent career path. his studio at Christchurch is close to the New forest and local beaches
Colin’s painting subjects include, Equestrian, Marine, Wildlife, Landscape and Still Life
He has exhibited at the Mall Galleries with the Royal Society of Marine Artists, The Royal Miniature Society, The Society of Equestrian Artists, The Laing Exhibition and Not the Turner Prize. Two African safaris in Botswana and Tanzania have produced reference for wildlife paintings exhibited over the years at the Marwell wildlife exhibition and the National exhibition of wildlife art, Liverpool. Some of his equestrian paintings have been widely exhibited across America with the Cross Gate Gallery of Lexington Kentucky
