Mary Herbert SEA

Mary studied at Loughborough College of Art and has painted professionally since 1990, working on portrait commissions and exhibiting around the UK. She specialises in pastel paintings of animals, though she likes to explore other media and subjects as well.

Originally from Leicestershire, she now lives on a smallholding in Ceredigion in West Wales where her work is inspired by the animals and beautiful landscape surrounding her. A qualified tutor, she runs regular courses and workshops from her studio.

Mary has been a Full Member of the Society of Equestrian Artists since 2005. She has limited edition prints in publication by Sally Mitchell Fine Arts, is a demonstrator for Caran d’Ache, and a regular contributor to ‘The Artist’ magazine.
