Sandy has been involved with horses from a young age, from mucking out and riding to now concentrating on painting them
Originally from London, Sandy moved to Buckinghamshire where she was painting and exhibiting locally, work including many local scenes and commissions. Upon moving to the New Forest she was able to indulge her passion for equine art, having many subjects around her with which to fill numerous sketchbooks!
Sandy has moved from pencil and watercolours to oils and sculpture, and has recently been working on a much larger scale, enjoying the freedom of a large canvass. In the last year Sandy has really had the opportunity to focus more on her paintings, and has exhibited within the New Forest, the London Mall Gallery and at the Palace House, Newmarket
More recently Sandy has volunteered to be the point of contact for the Salisbury and New Forest area, and since doing so, has participated in a number of activities with other members
