Roselyne was born and raised in Aberdeen, Scotland, where she studied Art and Design and now lives and works in rural Aberdeenshire. Having always had a keen interest in natural and historical heritage, she has found much artistic inspiration from her local area. However, it is her lifelong passion for the horse that shines through in much of her artwork and Roselyne has decided to recognise her ability to focus on the horse and develop those skills

Working in various mediums as the inspiration unfolds, including artglass, traditional glasspainting, charcoal, pencil, acrylic, and most recently oils

Roselyne wants to try and depict the innermost feelings and beauty that a horse can invoke in us. Perhaps the very essence of the horse that holds us in such awe and admiration. The horse in mythology and history worldwide play an important part in her artwork and she researches as much as possible. Being surrounded by the enigmatic carved stones of the Picts of Scotland has been a source of inspiration leading to her own interpretations of the Pictish and Celtic Horse

Roselyne owes her love of horses and art to her mum and first horse, a skewbald called Jester
