“I’m based in Oxfordshire and work from a tiny home studio near the river Thames. I make ceramics and paint pictures using traditional media. I produce work to commission, for shows and exhibitions and for a small selection of retailers and galleries.
In the past I was a Craftsman Highly Commended Newcomer at The British Craft Trade Fair in 2003 and featured in July 2003 and 2004 magazines. I have supplied pottery to Fortnum and Mason and was awarded a Queen Elizabeth Scholarship (QEST) in 2004. In July 2013 I was invited to participate in the QEST exhibition at the Coronation Festival in the grounds of Buckingham Palace. I have also exhibited and sold my ceramics in the Mall galleries with the Society of Equestrian Artists.
My equestrian art is inspired by years of riding and working with horses, including several years of long distance riding and a time studying classical dressage in Andalucia. I have spent countless hours watching horses move and interact. Their beauty and freedom inspires my work.”
