Carolyn Weaving is a self taught artist and sculptor. Her preferred mediums for paintings are coloured pencils and graphite as well as Gouache and pastels. Her painting style is to reflect the grace and beauty of the Horse in a variety of studies but always favouring a realistic portrayal

Her work has been exhibited in several galleries including bronze sculptures in the Douglas Fountain Gallery in Bermuda. During the summer of 2009 she has participated in a number of exhibitions, most recently with a solo exhibition in her home county of Dorset

Although Equestrian studies are her favoured choice, she also enjoys depicting wildlife in particular Big Cats, such as Leopard and Tiger

She had several wildlife studies on show this summer at the annual Marwell International Wildlife Artists Exhibition

The ever beautiful Lusitano and Andalusian horses are among her favourite subjects

She currently has Equestrian and other animal works of art for sale and any enquiries should be made to her e mail address (above)
