Joanne graduated from the University of Ulster’s School of Art and Design in 1999 and lives in Lower Ballinderry, County Antrim. She was promoted to be an Associate Member of the S.E.A. in October 2004.

She specialises in equine portraiture in oils and has undertaken many private commissions from clients in the U.K. and the Republic of Ireland.

In 2001 she was youngest artist selected to exhibit at the International Salon de Saumur, France. She was selected for the S.E.A.’s Annual Exhibition in 2002, 2003 and 2004. In September 2003 she presented her painting of Irish racing legend, Istabraq to the top Irish rider at the European Eventing Championships. She exhibited at the Society’s Silver Jubilee Newmarket exhibition in October 2004.
