“I studied Graphic design at St Martins School of Art in the late 1960s and went on to be a graphic designer and art director
“Since retiring from graphics I have followed the path of painting. I have always painted as a small child and won several awards at national level
“I have always kept horses and ridden since a youngster, I joined the SEA as a friend when it first became established under the Presidency of Tom Coates , and won the Crossgate Gallery Award one year
“Since I have had some time out from horse painting and exhibited with the NEAC and the RBA mainly painting landscapes , seascapes ( Devon and The Solent ) and portraits
“Recently I have returned to my horses . From the Indian horses of Rajasthan to the heavy plough horses , my grandchildrens ponies , and of course the beautiful thoroughbred racehorses , they all fascinate and enthrall me
“I work in oil or pencil , and take commisions
“At present I exhibit mainly in Devon at the Brownston Gallery Modbury and Coves Quay Gallery in Salcombe
