Charity Sale of ‘Secret Postcards’

March 21st, 2018

Category: Latest Updates

On the 22nd of April our administrator, Laura Barber-Riley, will be running The London Marathon to raise funds for Jeans for Genes. Jeans for Genes funds research into genetic conditions and supports families affected. 1 in 25 children are affected by a genetic disorder; one of which is Laura’s youngest son, Henry.

In order to support Laura with her fundraising, and also to support World Horse Welfare, we were looking for unframed and unmounted donations of postcard sized (approx. 7”x 5”) works, in any medium, which are signed by the artist on the BACK, rather than the front.

All donated works went on display in The Mews at Palace house, Newmarket, and are now available for sale at £45 each (plus £5 for recorded postage to the UK). All proceeds will be spilt between the two charities.

With works being signed on the reverse the identity of the artist remains a secret… buyers could be picking up an absolute bargain by a well known artist, or purchasing an affordable piece they love from an up and coming artist!

If you would like to make a purchase to get in touch with Laura at memb.sec@equestrianartists.co.uk

You can view all of the postcards donated, below. Sold works are captioned as such.
